专利摘要:
A detecting capacitive structure undergoes changes in capacitance value depending upon whether it is detecting, in the sheet transport path of a printing machine, a normal or single sheet, an absent sheet, or a double or stuck-together sheet, so that corrective action can be initiated, such as the skipping of a printing cycle. The detecting capacitive structure and also a reference capacitive structure constitute the capacitances of two RC circuit stages to which an input signal is applied and then removed. The variations with respect to time of the output signals from the two RC circuit stages are then compared, both during application of the input signal and subsequent to removal of the input signal. This comparison of time responses of the two RC circuit stages serves as the basis of the detection. The effect of the normal, absent or double sheet upon capacitance value is detected by monitoring a response dependent upon the time-constants of the RC circuit stages, without the detecting capacitive structure forming the capacitor of or resonant circuit.

The device contains a generator of 1 impulses, a first operational amplifier 2, a potentiometer 3, a circuit 4 comparing measuring and tuning RC circuits 5 and 6, a measuring capacitor 7, a comparator 8, a phase determining unit 9, elements 10 and 11, an inverter 12, a converter unit 13 consisting of RC circuits 14, Schmitt trigger 15 and amplifier 16. The device also has an operational amplifier 17, a tuning element 18 in the form of a trimming potentiometer 19, a capacitor 19, a capacitor 20 and an RC circuit 21. In this case, the outputs of the circuit compare 4 measuring and tuning RC-C Pei connected to the inputs of the comparator 8, the output of which is connected to the first input of the phase detecting unit 9 outputs connected to the inputs of the converter unit 13 and the second input of the further output of the generator 1 with the pulses. The output of the comparator 8 with an operational amplifier is connected to the input of the inverter 12 and the first input of the first element 10, the second input of which is connected to the output of the pulse generator 1 and the first input of the second element I connected by the second input to the output of the inverter 12. The comparator 8 with the operational amplifier 17 has a trimmer potentiometer 19 with resistors and an RC circuit 21, wherein the inputs of the operational amplifier 17 are connected to the first terminals of the resistors, the second terminals of which are connected to the main terminals of the trimmer potentiometer 19, a variable pin the one through which the RC circuit is connected to the output of the operational amplifier 17. The device operates as follows. With the passage of a sheet or ribbon through the printing machine, appropriate control is necessary. In sheet printing machines, control of defective sheets and control of simultaneous feeding of several sheets is necessary. For this purpose, capacitive measurement methods are usually suitable due to their non-contact principle of operation. In this case, in the presence of a defective sheet or the simultaneous feeding of several sheets, a change in the capacitance of the measuring capacitor occurs, which is determined by signal processing and leads to subsequent operations in the print shop. This invention solves the problem by comparing the time of passage of a pulse voltage signal through an RC circuit (integrating element) with a measuring capacitor and through a tuning RC circuit. The generator I supplies the device with a pulsed measuring voltage. It is equipped with the first operational amplifier 2, which, with resistors and capacitors, is switched on as a pulse generator 1. The impulse voltage enters the comparison circuit 4 through the first potentiometer 3 and the 4 comparison circuit contains two first and second RC circuits 5 and 6 with the same time constant T, the second. The RC circuit serves as the base of the comparison and contains a capacitor 20 The output signals Uz and Us of both RC circuits 5 and 6 of comparison circuit 4 are fed to comparator 8. Comparator 8 comprises a second operational amplifier 17, which, together with the resistances and diodes, is connected in a known manner as a voltage comparator. The outputs of the comparator 8 and the generator 1 are connected to the phase detection unit 9. In block 9 for determining the phases, the output of the generator 1 is connected both via the second element 11 and the output of the comparator 8 and through the first element 10 to the output of the comparator 8 that is inverted by the inverter 12. The output signals IJg and Ug of the first and second elements I are fed to the block 13. Block 13 consists of series-connected nodes: an RC circuit 14 as an integrating element, a Schmitt trigger 15, the threshold voltage of which is denoted by UT, and an amplifier 16. With very low requirements, the block 13 can be reduced to an amplifier 16. With high requirements x scheme (Fig. 1) can be expanded. To increase the accuracy of the signal, Schmitt triggers can be connected between the outputs of the first and second RC circuits 5 and 6. Further improvement can be achieved if on the CS circuit 14 in block 13 turn on stable multivibrator. Due to this, higher integration is achieved, and interference pulses are suppressed through the third RC circuit 14. This quality broadens the field of use (measurement of the thickness of layers in wetting and inking machines of printing masin). FIG. 2 shows a simplified version of the device shown in FIG. 1 device. When refusing to distinguish between defective sheets and submitting several sheets at the same time when using the above nodes, the device has a simplified structure. The generator 1 supplies the comparison circuit 4 with a measuring voltage. The output signals of the comparison circuit 4 are evaluated in comparator 8. The comparator circuit 8, along with the second operational amplifier 17 included as a voltage comparator, contains tuning element 18 with potentiometer 19. The output of the second opamp is connected to tuning element 18. The same effect can be achieved in the circuit of FIG. 1 due to the corresponding setting of the potentiometer 3. In this case, it is possible to dispense with the phase detection unit 9 and the unit 13. In FIG. 3 shows the voltage characteristics U f (t) at the output of the monitoring device. The pulse generator 1 uses the first operational amplifier 2 to turn on the pulse voltage U |. In the coordinated state, for the time constant Tp of the first RC circuit 5 and the time constant TV of the second RC circuit 6 is valid. The periods of rise and fall of the impulse voltage of the UL should be one hundredth of the time constant and the pulse width should quadruple the time constant of the first or second RC circuits 5 and 6. The use of the impulse voltage in the comparison method largely eliminates the problems with fluctuations in the supply voltage or fluctuations in the pulse voltage. The device can work with sinusoidal voltage. The impulse voltage UA goes to the first and second RC circuits 5 and 6, comparison circuit 4, which acts as an integrator. , -. In the initial state, if a normal sheet is supplied, i.e., a non-defective sheet and not several sheets at the same time, the comparison circuit 4 is balanced by the first potentiometer 3. The voltages Uz and Us have the same characteristics U2 U3 f (t). This equality is preserved if a band of controlled material is placed between the capacitor plates of the second RC circuit 6. If there is a defective sheet or several sheets together, the capacitance of the measuring capacitor 7 changes, that F, -1 has the effect of changing the constant time of the first RC -chains 5. Now it has different characteristics U2 f (t) and U3 f (t), which are evaluated in comparator 8. The negative input of the second operational amplifier 17 of the comparator 8 as a reference voltage is applied to the output voltage U2 of the second R C-circuits 6. If the measuring voltage Us at the positive input of the second operational amplifier 17 is greater than the voltage U, the output signal U appears. The output signal U4 of the comparator appears in the case of a defective sheet during the passage of the voltage Ui, since The time of the first RC circuit 5 is less than the RC time constant of the case of a double sheet during the passage of a voltage pulse L. since the time constant of the first RC circuit 5 is greater than the time constant of the second RC circuit 6. This difference is used in phase detection unit 9 for comparing the outputs of the voltage comparator 8 and the generator 1. Through the second element I passes the signal Ug if on the comparator 8 there is an output signal and during the passage of a voltage pulse U. In this case there is a defective sheet. The signal Ug passes through the first element AND 10, if the output of the comparator 8 has a signal U / during the passage of the pulsed voltage inverted by the inverter 12, i.e. between pulses. In this case, a double sheet is available. The signals of the phase detection unit 9 are received in block 13. In block 13, the incoming signal through the third RC circuit 14 is smoothed to characteristic U using a Schmitt trigger 15, converted into a binary signal Ug and amplified by amplifier 16. Through the comparison circuit 4, the pulse voltage U | generator 1 is fed to comparator 8. Comparator 8 has a second operational amplifier 17, which has feedback with a tuning element 18 equipped with a potentiometer 19. Depending on the setting of the potentiometer 19, a bias voltage appears at the input of the second operational amplifier 17, suppresses measuring voltage and. Accordingly, only the signal of a rejected sheet or a double sheet appears, which through block 13 enters the control device. Claim 1.
